In the dystopian city of Rift-city, life is a daily struggle, with supernatural threats omnipresent. The city is regularly attacked by creatures known as devourers, while the Commission, an organization dedicated to maintaining the illusion of a normal world. In the midst of this chaotic environment, Nathara, a dream-catcher with special abilities, is hired by Esmeralda, her fixer, to investigate an incident at the Commission.
